Overview
Volunteer Trusts & Foundations Volunteer (Grant Writer) | Hammersley Homes
Join to apply for the Volunteer Trusts & Foundations Volunteer (Grant Writer) role at Hammersley Homes.
What difference will you make?
Your support will help Hammersley Homes to secure the vital funds we need to continue and expand our Outreach Programme, which provides friendship, practical help and stability for adults living with enduring mental illness. By writing compelling funding applications and researching new opportunities, you will directly increase our ability to reach more people who might otherwise face isolation and hardship. Every successful grant will mean more vulnerable adults supported, more volunteers recruited and trained, and another step towards establishing our first Hammersley Home - a safe, supportive place they can call home. Your contribution will therefore have a tangible and lasting impact on some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer with strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear, persuasive text. Good research skills and the ability to identify potential funders. Attention to detail and good organisational skills. An interest in mental health, social care or community support. Previous experience of grant writing or fundraising. Self-motivation and reliability, with the ability to work independently in a remote role.
