The Role - In Summary
We are seeking a Business Development Manager with experience in apprenticeships and qualifications in Scotland. The ideal candidate will be confident promoting Modern Apprenticeships, vocational qualifications and solutions that support workforce development within construction and other sectors where leadership training is needed. You will be proactive and personable, with a talent for building strong relationships and understanding the specific training needs of the construction industry. A results-driven attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to present tailored solutions are key.

· Minimum 2-years in a similar role within a service-led organisation
· A driving license holder
· Full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check and right to work in the UK

Role Responsibilities

Business Development:
· Achieve personal sales target maintaining agreed margins.
· Support the creation of compelling WHY propositions.
· Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
· Promote academy programmes, and training courses that support workforce development.
· Proactively identify and engage potential customers.
· Conduct site visits and customer meetings to assess training needs and present solutions.
· Manage a sales pipeline and meet agreed monthly and quarterly targets.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry, and qualification frameworks.
· Work closely with other Sales team to share insights and identify growth opportunities.
· Provide clear communication between customers and internal teams to ensure high service delivery standards.
· Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and site-based promotions.
· Monitor market activity to remain competitive and responsive to client needs.
Compliance & Best Practice
· Support: All relevant statutory and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Process: Comply with any HOW we do business process manual/s relevant to role
· Centres: Promote the use, optimisation, and centralisation of all Kingdom Centres to ensure best-practice execution across the group.
· Social: Support Kingdom social media posts by liking and commenting.
