About the Role This exciting position offers the opportunity to join a supportive Private Client team where you'll work alongside experienced Legal Advisors to deliver exceptional service to clients dealing with some of life's most important legal matters. The role provides excellent exposure to various aspects of private client work, from estate planning and probate to trusts and tax planning. Legal Assistant Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive support to Legal Advisors with their diverse Private Client caseloads * Handle client communications professionally via telephone, email, and face-to-face meetings * Manage client files and maintain accurate records in accordance with firm procedures * Coordinate appointments and meetings for the Private Client team * Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries as required * Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth team operations * Support fee earners with billing and time recording processes * Contribute to the team's commitment to delivering exceptional client service Legal Assistant Requirements * Law Graduate with genuine interest in pursuing a career in Private Client work OR * An experienced Legal Assistant from any legal discipline looking to transition into Private Client * Strong motivation and enthusiasm for learning and professional development * Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management systems * Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal * Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure * Professional telephone manner and confident client-facing abilities * Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding professional standards * Interest in helping clients with sensitive and important legal matters Benefits * Competitive salary between £23,500 - £28,000 depending on experience * 23 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays * Additional time off between Christmas and New Year * Company pension scheme * Working with a values-driven firm committed to employee development * Plus much more!
