We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening Care Assistant to join our team in Brighton, United Kingdom. As an Evening Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support and care to our clients in their homes during the evening hours.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Prepare nutritious meals and snacks according to clients' dietary requirements
* Perform light housework to maintain a clean and safe living environment
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Accompany clients to evening appointments or social activities when required
* Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals
* Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or well-being
* Maintain accurate records of care provided and any incidents or concerns
* Collaborate with other care team members to ensure continuity of care
* Respond appropriately to emergencies and seek assistance when necessary
Qualifications
* Have the Right to Work in the UK
* Hold a full UK Driving Licence and own transport (if applicable)
* Consent to an enhanced DBS check
* Be over 18
* Genuine passion for caring for others and a compassionate nature
* Previous experience in a care assistant role is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Physical fitness to assist clients with mobility and personal care tasks
* Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic
* Valid driving licence and access to own vehicle (preferred)
* Flexibility to work evenings and the occasional weekends
* Willingness to undergo a DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
* Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and dignity at all times
* Ability to follow care plans and adhere to company policies and procedures
