We have an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to join our thriving IT Team at GLF Schools.
Your Opportunity
We are looking to recruit an IT Technician to support our schools in the Epsom / Ewell area. The successful candidate will benefit from the support of our experienced IT teams located throughout Surrey and Oxfordshire and will build links with the Trust IT team, the Service Delivery Manager, and the Head of Operations.
The candidate will provide first- and second-line support, working with a range of systems and users with varying skills, and will need to find solutions to issues affecting all aspects of IT. The candidate will assist in ensuring that IT services deliver benefits to teaching and learning.
This role is based at Glyn School and Cuddington Croft Primary School; on occasion, the candidate may be required to visit other GLF schools in the Epsom & Ewell region. The candidate will also be required to attend IT team training events held at the GLF Trust offices (Earlsfield, Banstead) at scheduled dates.
A full UK driving license is beneficial but not required if the candidate can demonstrate the means to meet the travel requirements for the role.
What We're Looking For
This is an exciting role with a varied work stream, requiring an intelligent and enthusiastic person who can think creatively to solve issues independently, but also work effectively with our wider IT and school teams.
Ideally, the candidate should have a minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role and experience with hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and deployment. Additional beneficial experience includes:

* Understanding of ITIL, service, and project delivery
