Pertemps are recruiting for an experienced Homelessness Reviews Officer in the Central London area.
You will need to have worked in a similar role within a Local Authority Housing Department, and have experience of the following:
Proven experience of completing homelessness reviews
Experience of completing housing register and temporary accommodation suitability reviews
Strong working knowledge of homelessness legislation and associated policies
Experience of statutory decision-making within a housing or homelessness context Key Responsibilities
Complete statutory homelessness reviews, including housing register and temporary accommodation suitability reviews
Ensure all decisions comply with homelessness legislation, statutory guidance, and council policies
Manage a caseload proactively with minimal supervision, progressing cases efficiently to conclusion
Liaise with service users, colleagues, and partner agencies via email, telephone, and face-to-face contact
Accurately record and document all case activity on case management systems and relevant spreadsheets
Obtain, assess, and analyse information to support robust and defensible review decisions
Communicate clearly and effectively, ensuring all interactions are led with empathy and understanding
Independently drive queries and workloads forward in a fast-paced environment
Complete all administrative tasks to a high standard, ensuring records are clear, concise, and legally compliant Please get in touch for more information.
