The Opportunity
We’re on the lookout for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of services. You will be responsible for leading a team of cleaners, managing schedules, maintaining supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of cleaning staff.
* Actively participate in cleaning tasks to maintain high standards and lead by example.
* Conduct regular site inspections and ensure compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
* Train and support staff in cleaning procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
* Manage cleaning supplies and equipment inventory.
* Prepare staff schedules and monitor attendance and performance.
* Respond to feedback and resolve service-related issues.
Communication
* Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members, and management.
* Provide regular feedback and guidance to staff to support performance and development.
* Handle concerns or conflicts professionally and constructively.
* Communicate cleaning standards and expectations effectively to ensure consistency.
Compliance & Safety
* Promote a safe working environment for all staff and visitors.
* Ensure proper use of PPE and cleaning equipment.
* Report hazards, accidents, and near-misses promptly.Provide training on manual handling, chemical safety, and emergency procedures.
