Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and flexible Locum Practice Nurse to join our friendly team in Central West London. This role is ideal for someone looking for part-time or flexible work between 1 and 1 - 5 days per week.
You will be providing essential treatment room services, working closely with GPs and the wider primary care team to deliver high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
All treatment room duties including:
Wound care and dressings
Immunisations and vaccinations (including travel where required)
Cervical cytology (smears)
Chronic disease monitoring (e.g. diabetes, asthma, COPD)
Injections (B12, contraception, etc.)
ECGs and phlebotomy
NHS health checks
Patient education and health promotion
Accurate documentation and use of clinical systems (e.g. EMIS/SystmOne)
Requirements
NMC Registered Nurse with current PIN
Recent experience in a GP practice setting essential
Confident in all treatment room procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent communication and organisational skills
