Supply Chain Planner at Croda – a FTSE100 organisation committed to Smart Science to Improve Lives™. The role is based in Rawcliffe Bridge, Rawcliffe, Goole, East Yorkshire, DN14 8PN, United Kingdom. The successful candidate will produce production planning for numerous assets on site, manage procurement of raw materials and packaging, maintain SAP master data, and collaborate with supply chain functions, external suppliers, and freight forwarders.

Who We’re Looking For
* Extensive knowledge of SAP processes in the Sales & Distribution and Production Planning modules.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to plan and carry out multiple activities with competing priorities.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience within a Supply Chain environment is desirable but not essential.
* Procurement experience would be an advantage.
* Educated to GCSEs in Mathematics and English (grade C or above).
* Customs knowledge is desirable but not essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Using SAP/APS to develop and implement the production schedule, turning planned orders and purchase requisitions into firm process orders and purchase orders based on demand, forecast, and safety stock.
* Communicate the production schedule and any issues to key stakeholders.
* Continuously review the schedule to ensure all forward demands are met and take appropriate actions.
* Make scheduling/procurement decisions that may impact customer orders and stocking policies, ensuring communication to stakeholders.
* Ensure raw materials and packaging are available in time to meet production requirements, sourced from production areas, warehouses, and off‑site suppliers.
* Maintain product compatibility and minimise washouts between batches.
* Develop and create improvements to systems and ways of working to increase efficiency.
* Track and report KPI against targets identified in appraisal/objectives.
* Support QC regarding rework opportunities.
* Participate in planning meetings, providing commercial information to improve plant and procurement processes.
* Execute actions for blocked or slow‑moving stock and rework as advised by QC.
* Log and action supplier complaints.
* Address invoice queries promptly.
* Respond to escalations and schedule new production if required.
