We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Telesales Executive to join our Construction Sales team based at our Colwick site.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving regional sales growth across the construction and demolition sector. Working closely with the wider sales team, you’ll identify prospective customers, build strong relationships, and develop a healthy sales pipeline that delivers long-term value to the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive outbound sales activity.
- Build, manage, and develop a strong sales pipeline using CRM systems.
- Exceed sales activity and revenue targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers.
- Identify and qualify new opportunities within the construction and demolition sector.
- Prepare and present tailored sales proposals and solutions.
- Respond to customer enquiries via telephone and email.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity within CRM systems.
- Work closely with operational teams and support functions to maximise opportunities and deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor market activity, industry developments, and competitor activity.
- Utilise social media platforms, including LinkedIn, and industry publications to identify new prospects.
- Attend sales meetings and business events as required.
- Deliver customer-focused solutions that support business growth and customer retention.
- Refer opportunities to field-based sales colleagues where appropriate.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
We’re looking for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering results.
- Previous experience in a telesales, sales, or customer service role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
- Good IT skills and experience using CRM systems.
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to sales.
- Resilient, driven, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Experience within the waste management, recycling, construction, or related sectors.
- Knowledge of the construction and demolition market.
- Experience generating and managing sales pipelines.
