A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a small but growing IT Consultancy. They are looking for an IT Support Engineer to join the team at the 2 nd line level supporting their mostly SME central and South-East London-based clients. The company has recently acquired a number of impressive retained contracts, and the role will essentially be a mix of office based helpdesk support and client site based 2 nd line support. There is great scope to progress with the company and take on more responsibility at a 3 rd line Engineer level in time. The role is primarily based at the company's HQ in Sevenoaks, but you will spend 1 or 2 days a week on client sites providing deskside support (up to 2nd line). The role is paying up to £40,000 plus benefits and offers a genine opportunity for progression. Candidates must have a driving license and their own transport, so as to be able to attend client sites when required. Candidates must have the following technical skills up to 2nd line support level: Strong experience with supporting Apple macOS devices. Experience of using Apple MDM tools such as Addigy, Jamf, etc) Proficient in administering Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) and Google Workspace. Solid experience with supporting Windows 10, Intune, Entra, and Active Directory Solid experience in troubleshooting networking issues including wireless, switching and firewall. Antivirus administration (Sophos, Trend Micro, MS Defender, etc). Experience with maintaining cloud storage, backup solutions, and NAS. Comfortable supporting meeting room technology, printers, and user peripherals. Awareness of Cyber Essentials compliance and IT policy documentation Basic experience in client hardware and software procurement.
