Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for a Test Manager to support a strategic and complex transformation programme for RSA Insurance Group Plc. The role requires strong delivery test management expertise across Finance and Actuarial programmes, with responsibility for leading end-to-end testing across policy and claims administration platforms and related financial systems. The successful candidate will bring extensive QA and Quality Engineering experience, a strong technical background, and deep understanding of regulated insurance environments.
What you will do:
* Develop and lead the overall test strategy, planning and scheduling across multiple releases within the transformation programme.
* Manage system integration testing, data validation, user acceptance testing, regression testing and operational acceptance testing across policy and claims administration platforms and related financial systems.
* Collaborate with Actuarial, Finance, Data Governance and IT teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage aligned with business objectives and regulatory standards.
* Engage and manage stakeholders across cross-functional teams including IFRS17, Actuarial, Regulatory and Statutory Reporting functions.
* Ensure adherence to non-functional requirements including performance, financial controls and service assurance standards.
* Support go-live readiness through detailed cutover planning and post-implementation validation to maintain operational stability.
* Oversee quality assurance governance across finance, actuarial and regulatory transformation initiatives.
* Ensure alignment with change management, release planning and governance frameworks within regulated environments.
Qualifications
* Preferably served as Test Manager or possess over 20 years of experience in QA or Quality Engineering with a technical background.
* Over 10 years of experience in delivery test management across strategic and complex transformation programmes.
* Proven experience managing Finance and Actuarial programmes.
* Strong understanding of insurance data, claims processing, actuarial reserving and financial reporting.
* Hands-on experience with data platforms, ETL pipelines and enterprise reporting tools.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical domains.
* Master’s degree in a STEM subject.
* UK-based candidate with availability within less than one month.
