Double Days - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm Monday-Fridayrotating weeklyA recognised high volume manufacturer are currently looking to strengthen their Manufacturing department with the appointment of a Process Engineer.As Process Engineer, you willbe responsible for delivering sustainable processes through experience,innovation & perseverance, driving continuous improvement initiatives within the area whilst maintaining a clear understanding with the adjoining processes. Development of process documentation and the skillsets of others is a key aspect of the role.Working from their manufacturing facility in Shropshire,the Process Engineer will be responsible for:Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plantActively present on the shop floorProvide Technical lead onprocess related itemsInstigate correct casting defect diagnosis and identify the KPIV and influence them accordinglyDaily dialogue with the Production Team to ensure theprocesses meet the delivery objectives (provide Tier 3 daily meeting representation)Developing & maintaining process documentationControlling PFMEA documentation and actioning recommendations through score reduction projectsDevelop and implement process improvement strategies through OEE improvements Cost Avoidance projectsLead CI improvement activities within the Upstream processesInvestigate, troubleshoot & resolve root cause analysisOffer guidance to others in the business unit through effective communication, leadership, coaching and mentoringPlaying a key role in the implementation of new product through design input, launches/burst builds/tool trialsExperience required in a similar manufacturing/process/production engineer role and Die-Casting.If you believe you have the required skills and experience please apply now.M-Tec Engineering Solutions is a leading supplier of Permanent, Interim and Project Management Recruitment Solutions to the Automotive and General Engineering sectors.Due to the overwhelming response to vacancies in this current climate, if you have not heard from us within the next two weeks you have been unsuccessful at this time.TPBN1_UKTJ
