We are looking for a Band 6 Podiatrist to join our community-based service providing both clinic and domiciliary experiences, covering Ormskirk, Skelmersdale, Burscough, and Tarleton. We offer flexible hours and hybrid working options, allowing work between the community and remote administrative duties.
Joining us as a Podiatrist, you will be offered NHS AfC Terms and Conditions. We also offer visa sponsorship for soon-to-qualify international students and international applications.
Main duties of the job
As a Band 6 Podiatrist, you will:
* Work as part of the podiatry team, providing assessment and treatment for referred patients.
* Be responsible for assessment, treatment planning, delivery, evaluation, and discharge of evidence-based podiatry interventions in locations such as patients' homes and community settings.
* Assess and treat a caseload including complex cases, acting as an autonomous practitioner with appropriate supervision, demonstrating high-level problem-solving, reasoning skills, and judgment.
* Promote health and reduce inequalities, maximizing health promotion and education to support patients' social and health wellbeing.

Job responsibilities
You will have a professional degree or equivalent in Podiatry and current registration with HCPC. Evidence of ongoing professional development is required.
A driving license and access to a car are essential, as community visits are part of the role.
