Maintenance Engineer – Electrical Bias
Location: Keighley
Contract: Temporary (ASAP – 2 to 3 months, with potential to apply for permanent)
Hours: 39 hours/week: Mon–Thurs 07:00–16:00, Fri 07:00–12:00
Rate: £40K per year

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to support a fast-paced internal manufacturing site. Your role will be key in keeping machines, electrical systems, and factory facilities running safely, efficiently, and without downtime.

🔌 What You’ll Be Doing
* Carry out electrical & mechanical maintenance, repairs, and installations
* Diagnose and fix electrical faults (with some mechanical work)
* Deliver planned preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
* Support engineering projects and site improvements
* Ensure all work meets Health & Safety regulations
* Work closely with the Engineering Team Leader and wider team
* Manage and oversee external contractors and vendors
* Drive continuous improvement and lean engineering initiatives
* Keep records and documentation up to date
🛠️ What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
* 3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience with preventative maintenance schedules
* Proactive mindset with a focus on improvement and reliability
* Comfortable working in a team-driven, safety-first environment
