Job Title: FRA Joiner Location: Based in Liverpool, with travel to Salford as required Rate: £19.00 per hour (CIS) Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week About the Role An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled FRA Joiner to join a reputable property services team. This temporary to permanent position involves carrying out joinery and fire-stopping works, alongside Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) site safety assessments. You'll be responsible for helping to ensure properties are compliant with essential fire safety standards. You'll be working across Liverpool and occasionally in Salford. The role offers £19.00 per hour (CIS), with the potential to move into a permanent position with added benefits. Key Responsibilities Install and repair Fire Resistant Timber Door Sets Deglaze and reglaze fire door panels Repair or renew Timber and UPVC Window Frames Apply intumescent coatings and complete accurate work records Maintain and replenish vehicle stock Conduct FRA site safety assessments as required Requirements Recognised Joinery Apprenticeship and NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification Proven experience as a Joiner, ideally in a social housing or similar setting Competent in joinery maintenance on domestic and commercial properties, including high-rise buildings Experience in fire-stopping is highly advantageous Full, valid UK driving licence Must hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and provide own tools Please call Lucy from Building Careers on (phone number removed) / (phone number removed) This position may not be for you, but feel free to call in for a quick chat so that we can find you more relevant work with some of our colleagues.
