Smile Education is working with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Wednesbury to recruit a strong and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 class.
This is a full-time, long-term role, starting ASAP, ideal for a confident TA who thrives in a busy KS1 learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils in a KS1 classroom
Working 1:1 and with small groups
Supporting phonics, early reading, writing, and number
Assisting with personal care routines where required
Supporting social, emotional, and behavioural development
Working closely with the class teacher and EYFS teamRequirements:
Previous experience in KS1
Confident supporting phonics and early learning
Calm, proactive, and nurturing approach
Strong behaviour management skills appropriate for EYFS
