HR Advisor - Medical Workforce
Band 6 (£41,608 to £50,702 per annum) pro-rata
Location: People Safety & Culture Directorate, Lister Street, University Hospital Crosshouse (this is an office based role)
Contract Type: Fixed term for 6 months
Hours: Part-time 29.6 hours per week

We are looking for an HR Advisor to provide expert advice and support on medical and dental terms and conditions, employment relations, and workforce projects.
What you will do:
You’ll work closely with managers and staff, ensuring compliance with policies and legislation, and play a key role in implementing new contracts and supporting national initiatives. You’ll also supervise a small team and deputise for the HR Manager – Medical Workforce when required.
This is an exciting time to join our medical staffing team as we undertake a review our business processes and procedures to make sure these best meet the needs of the organisation.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required to do the job:
You’ll be educated to degree level (or equivalent) along with significant HR experience and be a CIPD member. You’ll have knowledge of employment law, NHS workforce structures, and ideally medical staffing policies and complement this with excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
