Finance Manager/Bookkeeper
Location: Stourport
Salary: £40,000 + Benefits
Employment Type: Part-time (3 days per week)

An established and respected supplier within the commercial catering equipment sector is seeking an experienced Finance Manager/Bookkeeper to support its finance function. This company has built a strong reputation in the industry for over two decades and continues to grow due to exceptional customer satisfaction and a commitment to quality.

Role Overview:

As a Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial accuracy and smooth running of day-to-day financial operations. You'll be responsible for managing financial transactions, reconciling accounts, supporting compliance, and contributing to general office administration where required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Accurately enter daily financial transactions into accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero).
* Maintain records of purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

Accounts Payable & Receivable

* Monitor and track incoming payments and outstanding invoices.
* Prepare and issue customer invoices.
* Follow up on overdue accounts and manage collections.
* Process and schedule outgoing payments.

Bank & Credit Card Reconciliation

* Reconcile accounting records with bank and credit card statements.
* Investigate discrepancies and resolve outstanding issues.

Compliance & Record-Keeping

* Ensure adherence to relevant financial regulations and procedures.
* Maintain records to support audits and financial reviews.
* Securely store financial documentation and maintain backup systems.

Administrative Duties

* Provide general administrative support as required, including clerical tasks or basic office management.

Candidate Requirements:

* Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) accreditation required.
* AAT Qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a small, dynamic team.
