If you have inpatient mental health experience in the last 5 years, either informally or having been detained, or have been the main carer for someone who has had an inpatient admission in the last 3 years, we would love to hear from you!
This is an excellent opportunity to draw on your own experiences to make a positive difference in the lives of people using mental health services. This critical role will enable you to support inclusion and co-production within the Hospital Service, as well as serve as a vital link between patients and the clinical and management teams.
You will lead our approach to sharing and valuing lived experience, and support our approach to carer and family involvement.

Baldock Manor is a 40-bed hospital in north Hertfordshire that provides specialist psychiatric services for adults. The hospital has two female PICU (Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit) wards and two acute wards. Our PICU services provide care and support for women at crisis level with a severe mental disorder who require rapid assessment and stabilization. Our acute wards care for older adults, usually 50 years or older, who need a short-term hospital stay, where we can stabilize their mental health. The average stay in our acute wards is less than forty days.
