Marketing Manager - Built Environment Consultancy

UK-wide hybrid working with multiple office locations to choose from

Up to £70k + package

Permanent full-time position



Overview


This is a high-impact and strategic role with a real ability to build and shape the marketing strategy in key sectors of the built environment sector for a well-funded and growing private equity backed professional services company.


Specifically, you would focus on forming a full go-to-market strategy for particular market sectors the firm is targeting. Once set up, you will then recruit a team to implement the plan. You can also feed into the wider rebranding of the business.

The opportunity


As part of their planned growth, our client is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that enhance brand awareness, engage key audiences, and drive business growth. Reporting to the Marketing Director, you will play a crucial role in positioning our client as a market leader, generating high-quality leads, and supporting business development objectives.


This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated Marketing professional to lead on and develop strategies and campaigns, while being supported by an established multi-disciplinary practice.


* Design and execute integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns in line with our client’s strategic objectives.
* Develop distinctive marketing propositions that set our client apart within their core markets.
* Lead focused brand awareness and demand generation activities to drive lead acquisition and support sales pipeline development.
* Utilise a mix of digital, content, events, sponsorships, public relations, and traditional marketing channels to maximise campaign effectiveness.
* Maintain consistency of brand expression across all marketing channels, upholding the organisation’s core values of quality, ingenuity, aspiration, and partnership.
* Craft key messaging and positioning strategies to elevate our client’s profile and enhance market visibility.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive brand representation across all service lines and sectors.
* Oversee the production of impactful content, such as thought leadership pieces, case studies, whitepapers, videos, and digital assets.
* Lead the digital marketing approach for campaigns, including website optimisation, SEO, paid search, and email marketing.
* Strengthen the organisation’s presence on social media, particularly LinkedIn, to engage and influence target audiences.
* Develop and implement account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to support targeted business development.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of marketing initiatives, continuously refining activities to improve ROI and pipeline outcomes.
* Create and deploy marketing toolkits to support client-facing teams with consistent, high-quality materials.



The candidate


We’re looking for an engaging and passionate individual with a hunger to drive their business forward.


* Demonstrable experience in B2B marketing, preferably within professional services, consultancy, or the built environment sector.
* Solid track record of planning and delivering integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
* Skilled at converting business goals into persuasive and impactful marketing propositions.
* In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, content development, and lead generation strategies.
* Strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with senior leadership, technical teams, and external agencies.
* Analytical and data-focused approach, with experience in evaluating and refining marketing performance to maximise effectiveness.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
