Machine Operative
Location: Atherstone
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 08:00 - 16:30
The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting for a Machine Operative on behalf of our client based in the Atherstone area. Our client is a well-established business that manufactures packaging and cardboard boxes.
This is a hands-on role where the successful candidate will primarily operate machinery within the production area, while also supporting with other duties across the business when required.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating production machinery and ensuring it is set correctly
* Monitoring machines to ensure they are running smoothly and efficiently
* Carrying out general production duties as required
* Assisting with other tasks within the business when needed
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
* Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines
Requirements
* Valid external Counterbalance FLT licence required.
* Previous machine operating or manufacturing experience advantageous
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Good attention to detail
* Ability to work as part of a team
Full training will be provided; however, previous experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
