Job Description Sales Ledger / Credit Controller – Temporary – based in Kettering, NN15 Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Sales Ledger / Credit Controller to join a busy and fast-paced Finance team on a temporary basis for approximately three months. This varied role will provide essential support across both the Sales Ledger and Credit Control functions, helping to ensure accurate invoicing, effective cash collection, and strong customer relationships. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provide support across both Sales Ledger and Credit Control functions as required Raise and submit invoices accurately and in a timely manner Maintain, update, and reconcile the sales ledger Collect overdue debts via telephone and email communication Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key contacts Monitor and manage the aged debt report Produce and issue monthly statements Respond to and resolve client invoice queries promptly and professionally Post and allocate daily cash receipts Notify internal departments of funds received for advance payment contracts Follow established processes to ensure the smooth flow of financial information Person Specification: Confident and professional communicator with strong written and verbal skills Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Determined and tenacious approach to credit control Comfortable working with complex clients and ledgers Proactive team player who can adapt in a fast-paced environment Experience: Extensive credit control experience is essential Experience supporting sales ledger functions Sage software experience advantageous but not essential Good working knowledge of Excel Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours) Work Location: In Person (fully office based role) Benefits: Holiday Pay Free onsite parking Immediate start date available Employee benefits in line with company policy If you are interested, please get in touch ASAP or if this is not the exact role you are searching for, please do not hesitate to contact me directly to discuss other opportunities.
