Site Surveyor - Planned Maintenance
Location: Wolverhampton
Salary: up to 53k plus car allowance and benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Surveyor to join a dedicated leading Social Housing contractor that had an opportunity in their Planned Maintenance team operating in the Wolverhampton area. The role involves delivering projects for a long-standing social housing partner, making prior experience in this sector highly desirable.
This position combines both office-based work and site visits, so a valid UK driving license is essential.
Site Surveyor Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare applications, accounts, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner
* Ensure all costs related to service delivery are properly coded, recorded, authorised, and recovered
* Assist with monthly internal and external management information and performance reports
* Maintain minimal commercial work in progress (WIP) and outstanding debt in line with management targets
* Produce valuations and issue invoices within 9 calendar days of work completion
* Foster clear and consistent communication with the client to ensure service standards are met
About You:
You'll bring strong financial and commercial awareness, with a customer-focused approach and a background in social housing. You will be confident communicating at all levels and have a solid understanding of property maintenance legislation.
Site Surveyor Requirements:
* Experience in a similar role, ideally within the social housing sector
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Understanding of relevant maintenance and property management legislation
* Must hold a full UK driving license
* Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check as part of the onboarding process
