We require the ability to define and embed test strategy and quality standards across teams. We require a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience. We prefer cloud platform certifications such as AWS, although no mandatory certification is required. We require 2 years of experience leading or managing a team of software quality engineers or testers. We require experience writing tests in JavaScript. We require experience with testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress. We require experience with testing types including functional, performance, accessibility, and visual testing. We require experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. We require strong attention to detail and a quality-oriented mindset. We require experience writing and running API tests. We require experience using continuous integration tools such as Azure DevOps. We require test automation experience with CI/CD frameworks. We require experience designing, integrating, and operating AI-enabled solutions within enterprise environments, including prompt-driven workflows, retrieval-augmented systems, and AI agents. We require experience applying structured evaluation, testing, and monitoring practices to ensure AI outputs are reliable, secure, and compliant. We require experience preparing and managing data used in AI workflows and taking responsibility for the responsible lifecycle of AI features from experimentation through deployment and continuous improvement. Responsibilities: We develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data for a range of software products and features. We perform manual and automated testing using a variety of tools and frameworks. We support a team of software quality engineers. We provide technical guidance and feedback to developers and product managers. We communicate test results and status updates to stakeholders. We seek feedback from teams and act on it. We design and maintain test automation frameworks. We collaborate with developers, product managers, and customers to deliver high-quality software solutions. We help modernise our platforms and strengthen cyber and operational resilience. We contribute to automation and AI initiatives, supporting their move from proof of concept into end-to-end delivery. We support the delivery of reusable platforms and digital foundations that underpin critical business operations.
