The Role
You will play a key role in maximising sales opportunities, maintaining high showroom standards, and ensuring customers receive a professional and welcoming experience at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain showroom stock levels and ensure displays are well presented, accurately priced, and up to date
* Process customer orders and source parts and products from suppliers
* Carry out stock control duties and regular stock checks
* Support point-of-sale administration and showroom operations
* Arrange and assist with product demonstrations
* Promote the company brand and product range professionally
* Identify upselling opportunities and promote current offers and specialist products
* Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, as well as packing goods when required
* Develop strong product knowledge through ongoing training and development
* Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
* Deliver excellent customer service across face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions
* Work towards sales targets and departmental objectives
* Follow company procedures and health & safety standards
* Maintain a proactive and sales-driven approach in all aspects of the role
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience within retail, showroom, machinery, agricultural, horticultural, or groundcare sales would be advantageous
* Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Good IT and administration skills
Additional Information
* Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday & Saturdays on a rota basis)
