Quantity Surveyor
Coatbridge
Nine Twenty are working with one of the most well known and reputable steel manufacturers in the UK and are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Coatbridge. This role will be primarily based in Coatbridge but there will be the requirement to also visit various client sites which cover a range of projects which include Nuclear, Defence, Energy, etc.
Requirements
* Degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Steel background desirable but not essential
* Specialist sub-contracting experience desirable
* NEC3/4 Contract understanding and use
* Ability to review and negotiate contract terms and conditions
* Contract / project management ability
* Commercial acumen, pre and post contract
* Change control management
* Project cost value reconciliation, risk management
* Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word
* Good communication skills and the ability to work well with both internal and external stakeholders
* Driving License for site visits
