FLOREAL INTERNATIONAL LTD is currently seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Knitwear Designer (part time or full time)
DESIGNER
The selected candidate will report to the Marketing Manager. The selected Candidate is expected to support the design team in delivering high-quality, trend-driven collections within set timelines, while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and group standards. All designs must reflect market relevance, be technically sound, and comply with FLOREAL’s creative and quality benchmarks.
What you will be doing:
* Create clear, accurate, and technically sound CAD design specifications, aligned with brand aesthetics and timelines.
* Collaborate with the Design team to develop seasonal design direction, mood boards, and cohesive collections across various markets.
* Stay attuned to fashion forecasting, color stories, and market shifts to drive trend-led designs that appeal to target consumers.
* Assist in preparing presentation materials for internal and external reviews, including digital layouts, boards, and prototypes.
* Ensure all design files and documentation are kept up-to-date and well-organized for efficient workflow.
* Support the sourcing of new fabrics, trims, and finishes in collaboration with the materials and sourcing team.
* Explore opportunities for sustainable and innovative design solutions, contributing to eco-conscious development initiatives.
* Maintain a positive, solutions-oriented mindset while handling multiple projects and tight deadlines.
* Demonstrate adaptability and professionalism in a dynamic work environment.
What are we looking for?
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, XD); knowledge of 3D design tools is a plus.
* Solid understanding of garment construction, pattern design, and fabric behavior.
* Exceptional visual communication skills – able to translate abstract concepts into impactful design solutions.
* Strong trend awareness with the ability to adapt global fashion movements into commercially viable designs.
* A self-starter who takes ownership of their work and adapts quickly to shifting priorities.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, showing flexibility and professionalism.
* Capable of managing time effectively while handling multiple deadlines in a calm, organized, and proactive manner.
* Comfortable providing and receiving constructive feedback, and open to creative collaboration.
* Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the design and production process.
* Familiarity with sustainable design practices and a passion for innovation in textile and apparel development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
* Degree Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is essential.
