About the role
As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design delivery of significant and complex engineering projects. You will liaise with other team members, take ownership of project tasks, and coordinate with other professionals, developing effective relationships to stimulate future business growth.
You can expect to:
* Take and develop briefs and deliver projects from inception to completion.
* Take ownership of small projects or the electrical discipline on significant or complex schemes.
* Develop and produce project‑related calculations, designs, and documentation.
* Report to the line manager on progress and deliverables.
* Communicate design information clearly and concisely to the appropriate audience.
* Effectively delegate, manage, and check work undertaken by others.
* Take responsibility for design coordination with other disciplines and professionals.
* Report at design team meetings, client meetings, and project meetings.
About you
To be successful in this role you'll need:
* Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record delivering on a variety of complex projects.
* Experience of modern technical delivery processes and use of relevant software/tools such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
* Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design‑oriented/consultant role.
* Self‑awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity.
* Experience supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence.
