Job Overview This position reports to the Site Quality Manager. At TE Connectivity, the Quality and Reliability Team are responsible for providing timely quality planning support for products and processes, ensuring they comply with customer and contractual requirements. The Quality and Reliability Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with quality systems and will be responsible for; inspecting and testing received component parts and products, support teams to solve problems, liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues, prepare performance data and reports, and support the maintenance of the 'Quality Management System.' The Quality and Reliability Technician role is a 12 month fixed term position to cover maternity leave. Job Responsibilities: - Completion of tasks using own judgement and initiative - Inspection and testing of received component parts and products. - Provide timely quality planning support for products and processes. - Support teams to solve problems, with emphasis on root cause analysis - PPSR Process / 8D Reports. - Reduce costs and improve processes within the factory. - Continuous improvement. - Resolution of quality problems. - Liaison with customers and suppliers on quality issues.
