Senior Stress Engineer Are you an experienced Stress Engineer who thrives on solving complex problems? Join a leading UK engineering company delivering mission-critical projects across highly regulated sectors, including nuclear and healthcare. In this role, youll take ownership of design analysis - from detailed hand calculations to FE analysis - ensuring designs are safe, efficient, and fit for purpose. Youll work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, influence early-stage designs, and mentor junior engineers to build analytical excellence across the business. Were looking for someone with: Proven experience in structural or stress analysis, ideally within a regulated environment. Strong knowledge of BS EN 13001, BS 2573, Eurocode 3, and familiarity with FE tools (ANSYS, ABAQUS, or NASTRAN). A degree or HNC/HND in an engineering discipline (Chartered Engineer preferred). A practical, collaborative approach and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
