Humanities Teacher - Full Time
PRU - Blackley
Start Date: After February Half Term
We are currently working in partnership with a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Blackley who are seeking a full-time Humanities Teacher to join their team from after February half term.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and resilient teacher who is looking to make a real difference within alternative provision. The role involves teaching Humanities to small groups of pupils, supporting both their academic progress and wider personal development.
The Role:
Full-time Humanities teaching role (KS3 and/or KS4)
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Supporting pupils with SEMH and additional needs
Managing behaviour using a calm, consistent, trauma-informed approach
Working closely with support staff and senior leaders
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Humanities (PRU, AP, or SEND experience is desirable but not essential)
Is adaptable, patient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
Is committed to safeguarding and inclusive education
