About the Role
Due to the recent growth of the UK business we are expanding our UK Distribution team who cover both institutional and wholesale investors across the EMEA region. Based out of the London office, some international travel may be required. Whilst primarily a client service role, there will also be some sales support tasks, working alongside the distribution team. The hire will be the first dedicated client service role in the UK, with the intention that over time more hires will be made. There is therefore a career trajectory from being part of a growing team, with potential for leading the client service function and management responsibilities in the future.
Responsibilities
* Respond to investor queries in a timely and appropriate manner.
* Liaise with the appropriate affiliate to ensure client reporting is delivered to a high standard.
* Assist in investor onboarding.
* Client liaison point with custodian and administrator around new investors.
* Support sales team with all aspects of client interaction.
* Prepare periodic peer analysis of competing strategies and firms.
* Proactively assist with focused marketing/client events.
* Collect and analyse data to support sales goals and campaigns.
* CRM Management.
Required Skills
* 2-5 years’ relevant experience (client service, sales support) in asset management preferred.
* Though not required, Salesforce experience preferred (i.e. beyond basic administration).
* ‘Take ownership’ mindset, ability to operate independently and without supervision.
* Desire to learn and develop skillset across all aspects of client service distribution: investor queries, reporting, marketing, material development, RFP’s, platform onboarding and prospecting.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects at once.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative and team-orientated environment.
