A large and well-established local authority in London is seeking an experienced Housing and Litigation Lawyer to join them on a locum basis as an Assistant Principal Lawyer of the Housing and Litigation team.
With this being a senior level role, hybrid working is required, with office attendance up to 2 times a week.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
* Qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive)
* Extensive housing and/or litigation experience
* Management experience
* Experience working in local government or in a firm that deals with such work (strongly desirable)
The locum Assistant Principal Lawyer will support the Principal Lawyer in the running and development of the Housing and Litigation team, including deputising in the Principal Lawyer's absence where necessary. You will be managing 4-5 members of staff.
