About Us
The Estates and Facilities Department of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is dedicated to ensuring the efficient operation and sustainability of our facilities. With oversight of three hospital sites within the trust, we play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our community. Our Energy Section focuses on enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives across all three hospitals, driving innovation and best practices to reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Responsibilities
* Identify and implement energy-saving opportunities within our facilities.
* Collaborate with the in‑house Facilities Management (FM) team and their supply chain.
* Work closely with engineering staff to design and execute energy‑efficiency projects.
* Support the Trust’s sustainability and operational efficiency goals across all hospitals.
Qualifications
* Excellent technical knowledge of building services engineering, with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
* Experience in energy assessment and performance management.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
