Job Overview
As part of a small team, Health, Safety and Fire Managers are responsible for the efficient operation, planning and development of the Fire Safety Services and supporting the Health and Safety Team across the Trust, ensuring these functions are carried out to nationally agreed and recognised standards for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.
We offer an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Health, Safety and Fire Manager to join the Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety Team within the Estates & Facilities Directorate at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
Key Responsibilities
• Post holder will be responsible for the efficient operation, planning and development of the fire safety services and support the health and safety services across the Trust, ensuring that these functions are carried out to nationally agreed and recognised standards for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.
• The post will cover all London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust premises, with the post base split between Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospital and Ealing Hospital, and will require work and travel across all Trust premises.
• Reporting to the Associate Director of Estates & Facilities (Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety), the successful applicant will have extensive knowledge and experience in all fire and health and safety matters, be highly motivated and organised with the ability to deliver advice.
Location and Travel
The post base is split between Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospital and Ealing Hospital. The role requires working and travelling across all Trust premises.

* Ealing Hospital: a busy district general hospital providing a range of clinical services, as well as a 24/7 emergency department and urgent care centre, and specialist care at Meadow House Hospice.
* Central Middlesex Hospital: planned care site hosting a range of surgical and outpatient services and collocated with an urgent care centre.
