Position:
Supply Chain Quality Lead
Main Purpose:
The main purpose of the Supply Chain Quality Lead role is to coordinate and assist with product support within the Portable Fire Extinguisher (PFX) business and wider streamlines, focusing on servicing standards and data for the PFX engineers and liaising with PFX Field teams. This involves conducting product audits, ensuring supplier compliance, and supporting product development and lifecycle management to maintain high-quality products and services.
Salary:
Opportunity to earn up to £44,000 (dependent on experience)
Location:
UK wide, with a focus on being at our Chubb National Distribution Centre in Birmingham B46 1DA twice a week.

Responsibilities:
* Conduct PFX product audits
* Problem solving and investigations
* Statistical Process Control on KPIs for supplied products
* Support Sample Approvals for new product requests
* Assist with product approvals, testing, and internal reviews
* Ensure supplier compliance and manage supplier relationships
How You Will Do It:
* Support rail management activities related to PFX
* Engage in RRCA and DIVE activities with failing suppliers
* Manage product lifecycle and roadmaps
* Coordinate product-to-market timelines
* Complete documentation according to standards and codes
* Support distribution centre activities and field service tools development
* Create and publish technical and promotional materials
* Adhere to company policies, environmental, health, and safety procedures
* Complete quarterly ethics modules
Qualifications and Skills:
* Experience with Statistical Process Control
* Knowledge of PFX and servicing
* Problem-solving skills
* Materials knowledge: metals, plastics
* Continuous improvement methodologies
* Product development experience
* Postgraduate degree in Engineering, Science, or Manufacturing preferred
* Experience in a national company advantageous
* Driver’s license
