Job Title: Shared Services Finance Manager

About The Business
We are partnering with a rapidly growing, private equity-backed business based in Winnersh that is going through an exciting period of transformation. As part of their growth journey, they are looking to hire a Shared Services Finance Manager to take ownership of core finance operations and play a key role in driving process improvements across the function.
This is a highly visible role within the organisation that will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, digging into the detail, and leading change.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day-to-day operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cash Management within the shared services function
* Evaluate and improve end-to-end processes to drive efficiency, accuracy, and automation
* Lead and support finance transformation and change management initiatives across transactional finance
* Act as the escalation point for operational finance issues and provide hands-on support to resolve them
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements
* Work closely with the Group Financial Controller and other senior stakeholders on finance integration projects, system enhancements, and strategic planning
* Support the development and upskilling of the shared services team
Requirements
* Proven experience managing shared services or transactional finance functions
* Strong understanding of finance operations and process improvement
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to deep-dive into complex issues
* Experience delivering or supporting change management projects
* Strong stakeholder and team management skills
* Experience in a private equity-backed, scaling, or transformation-driven business is highly desirable
* Proficiency in finance systems and Excel; experience with ERP transitions or upgrades is a plus
