The HVAC Senior Technician role is crucial to supporting the operational progress of the HVAC
Region which includes to carry out technical repairs and PPM’s to your allocated sites ensuring that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date. you will be the first line in all maintenance throughout your allocated sites.
This role will require you to support, advise and build strong working relationships with the customer, internal teams to include first line technical and process support for regional HVAC technicians.
As a senior technician you will lead by example ensuring all work to be completed to the highest standards in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the laid-down Company Health and Safety policy
The role additionally will support the regional supervisor and wider business in the below key deliverables.
* You will be the technical and process lead for the regional HVAC technician in your area.
* Ensure all services are completed to the agreed standard and comply with all regulatory and company standards
* Support and guide engineers through any skill gaps identified by the regional Supervisor via 121 training.
* Problem solving and investigation of Problematic stores to support closing out actions to completion
* Oversee and drive standards in site scoping meetings and handovers
Covering Operational tasks when Regional Supervisor is unavailable.

* Comply with health & safety legislation and Company processes.
* Complete specified reports and compliance documentation and take action on any issues raised
People
* Compliance with all of City policies and procedures.
* Attend training courses as and where necessary and to ensure personal job skills keep pace with technical developments.
* Provide technical support and coaching to HVAC technicians.
Excellence
* Drive HVAC critical asset availability, action plan and drive improvement on uptime.
* Support the Regional HVAC Supervisor on all technical and compliance activities.
Service
* Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.
* Respond promptly and positively to service call requests from the Helpdesk and to assess the requirements of the job and carry out repairs as and where necessary.
* Prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and response times.
* Order spares to the laid-down procedures.
* Carry out surveys and complete reports as required by City management.
* Carry out minor alterations and installations within the individual’s technical competence in accordance with current specifications.
* Always represent the company in a professional manner and develop a good working relationship with HVAC technicians and the customer’s employees.
* Deal promptly with all Help Desk calls and ensure that the issues are resolved effectively, escalating where necessary to the appropriate management level.
* Regularly communicate with the customer on critical FM activity.
Others
* Carry out any reasonable management request.
Participate in on call rota to provide 24/7 cover.
