Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively with hand and power tools. As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in the production of high-quality metal components.
Duties
* Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
* Work with sheet metal to create components as per design requirements.
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to execute precise fabrications.
* Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
Experience
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication is essential, with specific skills in TIG welding and Stick welding being highly desirable.
* Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is required.
* Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
* Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
