TRADE COUNTER MANAGER
Our family run business are extremely successful in their industry and due to an increase in business they are looking for a Trade Counter Manager to join their team
This role is extremely hands on whilst leading by example to delivery excellent customer service and operational requirements
The role
* Accountable for the maintenance of warehouse management standards
* Provide exceptional customer service and support to new and existing customers
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards
* Support the delivery of sales targets whilst developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations
* Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
* Undertake stocktakes and audits
* Maintain maintenance records
* Conduct housekeeping for front of house, warehousing and merchanting
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR ASSISTANT BRANCH MANAGERS:
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
* A hands-on customer focused approach, confident and happy to serve customers and proactively engage with potential future customers
* Good organisational skills, with ability to prioritise and use own initiative
* Confident IT user, with experience of MS Office and industry standard software eg SAP
* Comfortable to work in a small team and on occasion, alone
* Experience within a similar role ideally in a trade / builders merchant /retail would be an advantage
