We are currently recruiting for a Finance Assistant in a hybrid capacity. Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 depending on experience FitzRoy is a charity for adults with learning disabilities. General Requirements Assist the Procurement Manager with any supplier projects Assist the services with any problems or queries they have relating to invoices, invoice codings or employee expenses Maintain quality and adhere to policies and procedures Identify and contribute to process improvements Establish positive working relationships with staff at all levels and outside stakeholders Assist in the identification of own learning and development needs and keep yourself professionally updated Understand and promote Fitzroy’s values Key Accountabilities Circulate supplier invoices for approval and input on to our accounting software system (currently Sage 200) Administer supplier payments, including large batch payment runs and additional ad-hoc payments, obtaining appropriate authorisations in line with our processes Administer and update supplier master data Administer approval and payment of employee expenses Process agency invoices Administer fuel card invoices and payments for our service vehicles Post Direct Debit payments and reconcile them to the bank Perform the Month End reconciliation of the purchase ledger Calculate and post the month end accruals to the nominal ledger Maintain accurate records and filing systems Manage workload and maintain timelines and priorities Support with any other related tasks that may arise within the finance team
