An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Business Services Team for a committed and flexible individual to provide efficient and effective administrative support to the CIC Panel
hours per week. The working pattern is Mon/Tues 9:00-15:00 (6 hours each day) and Thursday 9:00-16:00 (6 ½ hours). The office base is Matlock and there will be a requirement to work in the office one day per week.
Working as part of a team who support the smooth running of Foster Panels and Quality Assurance Discussions (QAD). You will be joining a small team who working within Business Services Fostering support and link in with the wider Business Services Fostering team.
What will I be doing:
1. Manage diary for panel case bookings and set dates for the year in advance
2. Creating agendas, distribution of paperwork in preparation for panels
3. Ensure continued quoracy and membership of panel
4. General administration tasks around pre and post panel.
5. Preparation of QAD templates
6. Preparation of letters to birth parents
7. Coordinate private fostering process, to support the social work team and manager.
8. Support the Fostering service with completion of requisitions and goods receipting invoices.
9. Supporting the wider Business Services Fostering team

Skills and Experience we are looking for:
10. Excellent IT skills, which includes the use of Microsoft packages.
11. An ability to work as part of a team undertaking a wide range of administrative duties.
12. Experience of working in a busy office environment.
13. Good communication skills both written and oral.
14. Good organisational
15. An ability to prioritise and work to deadlines .
16. An ability to interpret information and analyse data.
17. An ability to work within organisational policies and procedures.
18. An understanding of confidentiality, GDPR and Data Protection.
19. NVQ Level 2 qualification or relevant office experience.
20. Enthusiasm and transferable skills
21. Minute/note taking experience
22. Previous financial experience would be beneficial
