Overview
Project Manager - Civils | Nuclear Energy - Lead complex civil engineering projects that help power the UK's low-carbon future. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the UK's nuclear energy sector. Working on technically challenging projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities
* Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
* Define and implement project execution strategies aligned with agreed objectives
* Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement and construction
* Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with regulatory and company standards
* Manage project schedules, budgets and risk management activities
* Monitor performance using modern project controls and reporting tools
* Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project teams
* Prepare project documentation, reports and progress updates
* Ensure compliance with safety cases, quality standards and CDM regulations
* Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teams
Qualifications and Requirements
* Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
* Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred
* Strong experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments
* Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
* Knowledge of safety cases, HSE legislation and compliance frameworks
* Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
* Strong commercial awareness including cost control and planning
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
* Experience within power generation or nuclear sites beneficial
