* We are looking for candidates with ideally 2 years of experience in technical support or a helpdesk role. You should be comfortable speaking directly with clients. Experience with Microsoft 365 and a working knowledge of Active Directory are highly desirable. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential for success in this Support Engineer position. This role could suit someone who has previously worked as a 1st Line Support Technician, IT Helpdesk Analyst, or Technical Support Advisor.
Responsibilities:
* As a Support Engineer, you will act as the first point of contact for clients via phone and email. You will log, manage, and resolve support tickets in a timely manner, troubleshoot issues with PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices, and provide basic support with networking and connectivity issues. Additionally, you will administer Microsoft 365 and perform basic Active Directory functions, such as account setup and password resets. Maintaining and updating client asset databases and documentation, delivering support and guidance to end-users while escalating issues when appropriate, and providing on-site support as required will also be part of your responsibilities. You will liaise with third-party technical partners for escalated issues and uphold service management principles focusing on excellent customer care.
