Role: HR Advisor 12 month FTC
Location: Edinburgh
Hours: Full time or part time considered.

What you’ll do
- Deliver an effective HR service to assigned business areas, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures in line with best practice.
- Build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Liaise closely with business leaders and managers to monitor HR practices, ensure compliance, and provide professional advice.
- Lead case management across your business areas, including complex attendance issues, performance management, grievance, restructures, redundancies, and post evaluations.
- Ensure consistency and compliance in case management, highlight trends for the wider HR team.
- Support development and implementation of HR policies and update Employee Handbooks.
- Lead the production of HR reports on employee engagement, sickness absence, turnover, analysing trends and highlighting improvement opportunities.
- Monitor trends in employment practice and law to advise on proactive action.
What you’ll need
- HR Degree or equivalent
- Experience with HR systems
- Chartered or Graduate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development or relevant qualification
- Commercially aware
- Committed to CPD
- Focused and highly motivated
- Planning, prioritising and time‑management skills
