We are currently recruiting Senior Occupational Therapists with empathy and drive to make a difference, in a dynamic and forward-thinking 'Reablement Therapy Service' contributing to a wide range of service areas including Reablement, Equipment and Adaptations and Moving and Handling. This role is based in East Lancashire as part of our Adult Services Short Term Support Service, Occupational Therapy team.

Reablement Teams work closely with our Reablement Provider, ICAT, and collaborative partners in Community Health & Social Care to prevent hospital admission and promote independence.
Responsibilities
Work within the Reablement Team as part of the Occupational Therapy service to support adults in short-term care, equipment and adaptations, and moving and handling. Collaborate with local health and social care partners to promote independence and prevent hospital admissions. Contribute to a positive, innovative practice environment aligned with the Living Better Lives in Lancashire vision.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Occupational Therapists must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) to be appointed or have applied to register with the HCPC.
* A car is required for duties of the post and you must be insured for business use. We may consider applicants who cannot drive due to a disability.
Eligibility & Compliance
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013). If successful, you will be required to apply for a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Further information can be found on the Our Recruitment Process tab.
Occupational Therapy applicants must be registered with the HCPC to be appointed as an Occupational Therapist or have applied to register with the HCPC.
