EV Charging Interoperability Engineer – Validation & Test Contract | Automotive Electrification | Office-Based | We are recruiting an EV Charging Interoperability Engineer to join a leading automotive electrification programme, supporting validation and compatibility testing of electric vehicle (EV) charging systems. This role sits within a Charging Validation & Verification team and focuses on delivering high-quality test data to support design release and technology advancement of EV charging infrastructure compatibility. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct EV charging interoperability testing (lab and road testing) * Prepare and configure test vehicles (hardware & software) * Validate compliance with ISO 15118, DIN 70121, IEC 61851 and OCPP * Investigate EVSE compatibility issues (CCS / Combo charging) * Support commissioning and acceptance testing of measurement equipment * Perform instrumentation, data collection and analysis * Work cross-functionally with vehicle engineering, software and hardware teams * Maintain Failure Mode Avoidance (FMA) tracking and regression test cases * Coordinate drive test planning and route development Required Experience: * Hands-on experience with EV charging systems or EVSE * Strong knowledge of ISO15118, DIN70121, IEC61851 or OCPP * Automotive validation, integration or test engineering background * Experience in drive testing, lab ...
