The role: We are currently recruiting for a Plant Mechanic / Yard operative to join our busy team. We have a variety of different plant in our Sherburn Yard including Forklifts, Moffett's, reach trucks, roto telehandlers and other small plant which all need servicing and keeping up with daily maintenance. This position would suit a semi-skilled plant, forklift or vehicle engineer. The prime role for the successful applicant would be daily checks and record keeping of the forklift trucks and small plant in daily use at our head office in Sherburn In Elmet. The role would involve being outside in our yard all day, every day so we are looking for a candidate that is very hands on.
