- 5:00pm Pay: £40,000 per annum £2,000 annual bonus overtime availability An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Engineer to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established manufacturing organisation offering a permanent contract and a supportive team environment.
Benefits: Start date negotiable in line with applicant's requirements Competitive salary bonus Overtime available (including Saturday mornings if required) Company pension scheme Other benefits discussed upon induction Working within a friendly and supportive team The Requirements: Qualified Mechanical Engineer Demonstrable experience in mechanical skills, including: Welding; Drilling; Grinding; Hydraulics; Pneumatics.
Previous experience within a manufacturing environment (advantageous) Commitment to health and safety Strong organisational skills Ability to work well within a team and multitask effectively The Role: Responsible for the continuous running of machinery and equipment to ensure production targets are met Provide plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support, and mechanical repairs Monitor and support machine set-up and changeovers to ensure products meet quality assurance standards Follow company isolation and lock-off procedures at all times Complete all day-shift work instructions Carry out risk assessments, dynamic risk assessments, and safe permit-to-work forms as required Develop knowledge of the plant to support maintenance activities Liaise with the Maintenance xkybehq Manager to ensure all production and maintenance requirements are met Assist maintenance teams with planned works and breakdowns as required Carry a company radio at all times Work during shutdown periods (holiday authorisation at manager's discretion) If you're keen to join an exceptional team offering long-term stability and growth within a leading manufacturing environment, then please apply for this Maintenance Engineer role below or call Martin Davis on between 8:00am and 4:30pm .
